Congratulations! You have decided to get married and have your heart set on a beautiful Jewish wedding in Israel. After finding your wedding coordinator and the perfect venue, the next step is obtaining the right live band to perform at your event.

 

If you’re English speaking you may prefer a band that sings in English, proper English that is, and who can also produce an authentic round of Israeli dancing (in proper Hebrew, after all you are getting married in Israel).

 

Deja Vu Band can help you create a most memorable wedding that will definitely surprise your family and loved ones who will absolutely enjoy themselves on the dance floor. Deja Vu have created a spirit lifting, knee rattling, retro Rock ‘n’ roll show composed of the best tunes from the 60’s and 70’s. Our repertoire runs from Elvis to the Rolling Stones, Nancy Sinatra, Jefferson Airplane and of course the Beatles. The songs we all know and love get a riveting rendition on stage, making your wedding a true musical experience.

 

Our vintage clothes and sound will take you on a ride to the time when the grooviest music was created and we will ensure all of your guests will be out there on the dance floor with you.

 

Deja Vu is a band is made up of five good friends who have been playing together on different projects for many years. We are all young,  professional musicians who were raised listening to the folk-rock American and English scene of the 60’s and 70’s and lucky for us, our parents had good taste in music.

 

For the more traditional part of your wedding we play a mean Klezmer medley for your Israeli dancing. This will be your own personalized medley as we have found a way to sneak in the bride and groom’s names into “To Life”, “King David” and “Siman Tov”. The Klezmer medley is in both Hebrew and English.

 

We make the effort to get to know our couples before taking part in their special day and as your wedding is a very personal event we make sure that that on the big day we are all tuned on the same note (musical note obviously).
